The Interactive MR station provided a unique bridge between the real and virtual worlds, featuring an astrophysicist appearing as an avatar on a large projection screen. Audience members engaged in lively interactions by asking questions about the universe, with the astrophysicist responding in real-time. This station successfully encouraged participants to delve into deep conversations about topics like dark matter, dispelling any misconceptions about the avatar being a mere AI.
The main LED screen served as an interactive messaging platform, allowing attendees to scan a QR code or send WhatsApp messages that were later displayed on the screen, creating an artful display of statements.
In the VR experience, participants had the opportunity to explore other exhibitions within the installation, offering a glimpse into the previous exhibitions.
Overall, the “Space Messengers” workshop facilitated an engaging and immersive experience, fostering a deeper understanding of space-related concepts and encouraging meaningful interactions among participants.
