The workshop was open to everybody, but the focus was on visual, digital, and performing artists. Expanding on the themes of the project Mint me! I’m an artist, participants were encouraged to experiment with photogrammetry methods to capture scans of their bodies, utilizing the Polycam app.

The workshop space was equipped with special equipment like softboxes to facilitate the scanning process. The attendees not only learned the techniques to scan, import, and isolate their physical forms in a digital environment but also gain insights into the empowering act of reclaiming agency in the art world.

The participants used their own phones to do the scans with the help from the artists. The resulting scans become unique digital artifacts (NFTs), hosted on the OpenSea account. The workshop went beyond the technical aspects, fostering a dialogue about the commodification of art and the role of performers in the art market. The participants also engaged in the redaction of a short contract, providing a framework for discussions surrounding fair compensation and agency in the evolving landscape of digital art. One of the attendees, a Croatian artist, already presented the result of the workshop on her website.
