The workshop was open to everybody, but it was especially designed for artists from the performing arts sphere such as dancers, choreographers, circus artists etc. The idea of the workshop was to offer performing artists the opportunity to take advantage of digital technologies to explore new connections between real and virtual worlds and to reinvent the relationship with the audience. The workshop activities focused on expanding the scope of possibilities of live performances using XR technologies and tools. The workshop mentors helped the participants explore new narrative forms, new relationships between performers and audience, and innovative technological solutions as well as their adaptation to the conditions and actual requirements of live performance. The workshop was imagined as a participative creative time to explore new ideas, including working in small groups. The participants gained a better understanding of XR and AR technologies and their implications for performing arts use. Unfortunately, only one person applied to the workshop, joined by a member of the consortium. The attendee was a performing artist, and the workshop was very useful and engaging for her, however the ‘working in small groups’ concept could not be realized due to such a low number of applicants.
